WHEN SULFUR trioxide gas reacts with water, a solution of sulfuric acid forms. What is the balanced equation?

Sulphur trioxide = `SO_3`

Sulfuric acid = `H_2SO_4`

 

`SO_(3(g))+H_2O_((l)) rarr H_2SO_(4(aq))`

 

No need to balance anything. You will get the balanced answer straight away.
