What is your opinion about this article on the Europeans' efforts to solve their debt crisis?

This article shows us how important and yet how difficult it is for the European countries to do something to solve their crisis.
The crisis has reached the point where even Germany might have its credit rating reduced because of the problems elsewhere in the EU. These problems are affecting the whole global economy. Yet, at the same time, it is so hard to get countries to agree to help one another that Britain is still holding out because they do not want to be tied too tightly to the EU. This is a problem that the EU will really need to solve in order to remain "alive."
