1 Answer | add yours
In a health services course, one would expect to learn the origins, history, and contemporary issues and practices of modern health services. The course might delve into the original practices of health services such as midwifery and last rites. Considering that many health services are rendered at important junctures such as birth, the onset of adolescence, and end of life, the course may discuss the relationship between health services and human developmental psychology. Political issues around health care and public health might also be discussed. For example, the course might examine current events issues such as the use of medicinal marijuana, stimulant drugs and psychoactive drugs.
