Records are readily available for net cost benefits but not for "net technology costs." I suppose this is because of the differenc in systems available.

The Department of Information Systems of Boston reports that the net benefit per year per medical record is $86,400. They report that using a one-way sensitivity model for analysis of patient costs, the cost benefit was in a range per patient from 8400 US dollars to a high of 140,100 US dollars. A five-way sensitivity model analysis of optimisim and pessimism of benefit shows a cost benefit in a range from 2300 US dollars net cost to a 330,900 US dollars net benefit.
