In what way is Beowulf a Christain and a pagan epic?

Please explain in full detail and give some examples from Beowulf.

The Germanic culture was one of paganistic views, so originally we can assurme the novel, Beowulf, was passed down with these Pagan views. Through translation though, Christian views have been added and interpreted from the text.
