The strengths of Beatrice is that she is a strong, independent and stable character. She can think on the spot, as demonstated in Act 1 Scene 1, when Beatrice and Benedick exchange witty remarks;
Is it possible disdain should die while she hath such meet
food to feed it as Signor Benedick? Courtesy itself must
convert to disdain if you come in her presence.
Beatrice is also very intelligent, and has a good sense of wit.
Beatrice's weaknesses are that she is very picky in her choices. For example, Beatrice said that she could not have a man with a beard, for that would make them too much of a man, but she could not have a man without a beard as that would make them a boy! This attitude is clearly a flaw in her personality. Another weakness is Beatrice's deceptive and questionable morals. She demands that Benedick kill Claudio after he publically accuses her close girlfriend Hero of being with other men. Beatrice has a tend to want revenge, adopting the eye for an eye philosophy.
