The Mekong River is located in Southeast Asia (running through the Yunnan province in China, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.
Given that the Mekong River is found in Cambodia, main artifacts of the Dong Son culture have been found. The Dong Son culture was famous for their bronze work. Many drums (the moko drum) and knives (keris knives) have been found along the Mekong River in Cambodia.
Outside of the metal work found in the region, other excavations have produced "earthwork." Earthwork is the use of rocks and soil placed in specific areas to change the landscape (or create mounds).
