What are some examples of subordinate classes, the lowerr or underprivileged groups, from the The Motorcycle Diaries directed by Walter Salles?

One stark and memory-entraining instance where we see a glimpse of the subordinate class is during the mountain trek in which Ernesto Che and Alberto pass two village women carrying bundles of sticks strapped to their backs with shawl-like arrangements.Sticks were actually a salable commodity, so these women were working to earn income beyond gathering what they individually might need. These women represent the subordinate class because it is not possible to have employment much further down the scale than stick gathering and because they were voiceless villagers who knew little of the world beyond their village yet who felt the political oppression of assertive leaders.
