What are the roots of the following polynomial equation? (x-4)(x+7)(x-10)(x+12)=0

Answers in order from least to greatest.

1. Set all of the equations equal to 0:

(x-4)= 0 ---> x = 4

(x+7) = 0 -----> x = -7

(x-10) = 0 -----> x = 10

(x+12) = 0 ----> x = -12

**This means that the roots are 4, -7, 10, -12**
