In this poem, appeared in 1833 and based on Malory's "Morte D'Arthur", there are many romantic elements: firts of all the importance of love (the Lady leaves the tower because she has fallen in love with Lancelot); the presence of nature that is all around the characters; the search for freedom (the Lady is locked in a tower and she doesn't know how the real world is, because she can only see through a mirror); the curse upon the Lady and the supernatural elements, such as the magical elements, the magic mirror and so on.
