The remainder when a polynomial P(x) is divided by x - a is given by P(a).

When P(x) = 3x^2 + 6x + 18 is divided by x - 3 the remainder is P(3) = 3*(3^2) + 6*3 +18 = 63

The required remainder when 3x^2 + 6x + 18 is divided by x - 3 is 63
