what is the range of the function?

y=-2x+6

with the domain-1<x<5

i tried to make a table to help but.i got lost this what i had soo far x-1 ,5

The function y=-2x+6. The domain of the function is  (-1, 5)

For x = -1, y = -2*-1 + 6 = 8

For x = 5, y = -2*5 + 6 = -4

For the given domain, the range of the function is (-4, 8)
