Since Huntington's disease is eligible for genetic testing, many practical and ethical questions are arising. One of these is how old, how "mature," a person should be to be deemed responsible to undergo potentially negative genetic testing. Another, with the potential for significant social impact, is whether negative test results might be used in employment, financial, life and health insurance questions and other related issues ("Huntington's Disease Society and Culture," News-Medical.net).
