What is motor effect?

A force is exerted when a current passes at through a magnetic field with a right (90 degree) angle. If an external magnetic field is present, the field produced wiil repel as the force is experience by the conductor. Such phenomena leads to movement. The direction of force can be determined using the traditional Flemmings Left hand Motor rule which can be represented using our left hand. Each of the three fingers used in the left hand rule (thum, second and middle) has a respective assigned quantity in order to demonstrate how the motor moves.
