What is morale in the context of a work place?
1 Answer | add yours
In the context of a workplace, morale can be defined as the attitudes of the people who work in that place towards their jobs and their employers. The level of morale in a workplace has serious consequences for the productivity of the workplace.
Because morale is so important, there is a lot of discussion of how the morale of a workplace can be improved. There are no easy answers to this issue, however, because it is not easy to make sure that people enjoy their work or their workplace.
Although it is difficult to know how to improve workplace morale, it is important to try. This is because workers who are more satisfied with their jobs tend to work harder and be more productive than unhappy workers.
