The modulus of z = 1 - i has to be determined.
For a complex number z = a + i*b, |z| = `sqrt(a^2 + b^2)`
For z = 1 - i
|z| = `sqrt(1^2 + (-1)^2)`
= `sqrt(1 + 1)`
= `sqrt 2`
The modulus of z = 1 - i is `sqrt 2`
