This is an interesting question and the newest disorder, or I should properly say, possible newest disorder is Internet addition disorder (IAD). It is now being debated whether this disorder should be included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV).
The basic problem of this disorder is that a person is addicted to the Internet so much that it interferes with his or her life. It interferes with social interactions, work, and other aspects of a person's life. According to one test, about 5% of people that use the Internet has some dependency on the Internet. This number might seem to be too high, but when we realize how much time the general public spends on the Internet, it is believable.
More recently, there are new studies on personality disorders based on too much internet usage. This is still in uncharted territory, but something to keep an eye on.
I also want their solution - as in how to prevent 'em
Thank you =D
So are ther any solutions to IAD.
And also what are the safety hazards caused by regular use of computers (with solutions) - u no: stuff like fire risks.
