What kind of work done (external or internal) according to first law of thermodynamics?
I have read that in the first law of thermodynamics, work done by the system is calculated against the external pressure but while deducing the relation between Cv and Cp work done is calculated by the internal pressure or the pressure of the gas. Why it is done so? I think it had been done by assuming a quasistatic process. Am i write?
