arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, minor or major injury, overuse, and sprains. These would all cause a great deal of pain and discomfort to the patient. All structures feel pain. They are felt through nerves. So a muscle, tendon, ligament may feel pain ( im not possitive). But if they become inflammed or swollen they will cause increased levels of discomfort.
