What happens when we don’t sleep?Please explain deeply.

Not being able to sleep is called insomnia. It can be caused by physical ailments or psychological stress. Our bodies need rest and sleep for rejuvenation. If we don't sleep enough we can start to have physical and emotional ramifications like a lack of energy, apathy, confusion, lack of reasoning skills, headaches, and a general feeling of exhaustion. Some people require more sleep than others and a lack of sleep affects us differently. We can promote sleep by limiting caffeine intake, getting some exercise during the day, practicing meditation, making the room dark, and minimizing distractions like phone calls and television viewing.
