If you are asking what I think you are asking, the correct answer is 1/3.

That would be the answer you get if you simplify 9/27.

The way you simplify a fraction is to divide both the top and the bottom by the largest number that will divide into both numbers exactly (leaving no remainder).

In the case of 9/27, 9 can divide both numbers exactly.  9/9 is, of course, 1.  27/9 is 3.

So once you divide both top and bottom by 9, you get 1/3.

That is the most simplified version of 9/27.

Please follow the link for more information on how to simplify fractions.

Yes, 1/3 is the simplest form of 9/27. Yet, if you want to generate other equivalent fractions, just multiply both the numerator and the denominator by the same number (which is the same as multiplying by 1). For example:

9/27 x 2/2 = 18/54

This can be done to generate equivalent fractions. Hope this is helpful :-).

To find an equivalent fraction you must either multiply or divide the numerator and denominator by the same number.  So, 1/3 and 3/9 are both equivalent fractions.  1/3 however is in simplest form.  There are many equivalent fractions to 9/27.
