Given the points (4,1) and (-2,3) passes through the line.

`==gt y-y1 =m (x-x1)`

`` We will determine the slope.

`==gt m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)= (3-1)/(-2-4) = 2/-6 = -1/3 `

`==gt y-y1= -1/3 (x-x1) `

`==gt y+2 = -1/3 (x-3) `

`==gt y= -1/3 x + 1 - 2 `

`==> y= -1/3 x -1`
