We'll recall the formula that gives the equation of a line that passes through a point and it has a known slope:

y - y1 = m(x - x1), where m is the slope

We'll recall the formula that gives the value of a slope of a line that passes through two points:

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

We'll identify the coordinates:

x1=-2,y1=5,x2=3,y2=10

We'll plug in the identified coordinates:

y - 5 = (10-5)(x+2)/(3+2)

y - 5 = x + 2

y = x + 2 + 5

The equation of the line that passes through the given points is: y = x + 7
