What is the domain of f(x)= sqrt x - 7?

### 1 Answer | Add Yours

Domain of: `f(x) =sqrt(x) - 7`

We can not have negative values for a radical in a function therefore, our possible inputs for this function has to be anything greater than or equal to zero.

Can not have: `sqrt(-5)`

Therefore we say that domain is all real numbers greater than or equal to 0.

**So:** `{x|x>=0}`
