The "swan song" consists of an anonymous voice which accuses each of the guests on Indian island of murder. Agatha Christie chose to call the record "swan song" for a specific reason. Swans are quite during their entire lives, but before their deaths they sing a song. Each of the guests on Indian Island says they are innocent, right before they are murdered they say that they were guilty.
