What does miss Wilcox write about? I remeber it's controversial so she has to run away...I can't remember what it is she writes though?

Emily Wilcox (really Emily Baxter) writes feminist poetry. She decides to run away to New York City and then on to Paris because her husband does *not* like what she writes so much so that he decides to have her commited to an insane asylum. Remember, the book is set in a time where women, especially married women, have no rights and husbands are allowed to whatever they deem necessary to "keep their wives in line" if they are somehow "bad".
