What do you think about Jacob's Epilogue and how he is the one who writes the Epilogue; was it unexpected?

I loved that Eclipse's Epilogue was written by Jacob's point of view; it helped me prepare for Breaking Dawn's chapters where Jacob was the narrator.

Thank you!

Well it helped alot and it made it interesting.. Most books (that i read) have one person narrating the story so it helped grab my interest

While it was unexpected, it helps the reader see from Jacob's point of view, and as one of the posts said, it prepares the reader for later on, when Jacob becomes a narrator. I think because of the nature of this book, and the many perspectives that are hard to see from only one character's point of view, the epilogue helps to reveal a different voice and perspective.
