The private sector consists of all organizations whose owner is not the the government, hence, the private sector is not operated by the government.
The public sector consists of all organizations that are owned and administered by the government and they are usually found under the name of public bodies or authorities. Some examples of public authorities are local government bodies, education bodies, health care bodies, public transportation systems, police and military services. Usually, public services provide social services to community, under the law authorization.
The public services provides services that are not profit oriented, while private sector groups target the profit and they are in direct competition to reach the same demands.
