Bob Dylan was raised as a Jew, but in 1979 he declared that he had "found Christ" and converted to Christianity. He seemed so sure in his new faith that he even released two Christian gospel albums. However, fifteen years later he claimed he did not identify with any organized religion, and instead looked at his music as his spirituality. Even then, he set up and participated in his kids' bar mitzvahs. Throughout his career, people have speculated on where exactly he stands in his religious beliefs, and it seems like the ambiguity in that area of his life continues to this day.
