Middle School Teacher
Satire is more intellectual humor, more sarcastic, while a farce is more slap-slip, ridiculous or absurd. A satirical perspective is more humorous with perhaps a degree of cynicism thrown in. Farce is more exaggerated, more slap slick. Think Marx Brothers or Three Stooges. Satire can be more undertone while farce is more outlandish.
