What could you do to understand the other culture better? How would you describe relations between the two groups?
Choose and ethnic group other than your own that lives in or near your home community. Can you compare your own culture and someone elses using Kangs model.

Well, as far as being able to understand another culture better, the best way that I would know would have to be by Participant Observation, which is actually being involved with the culture. By doing this you can learn many things about a culture.
One way to look at it is that you cannot be Ethnocentric, and judge their culture based on your own culture. To learn about them the best way you have to look at that specific culture for its own values, morals, and traditions.
