what is the common punishment for lew and lascivious behavior. No child involved. it was a first time offense. never been arrested.

my husband has managed to get in trouble. He was suppose to be getting a better job in the military and now we dont know where this is going. i just need something to settle my mind.

This is going to depend a great deal on where you live because laws of this sort are state laws.  If you want to know for sure, you should try to Google "lewd and lascivious behavior" and the name of your state.  You might also want to talk to a lawyer or to Legal Aid.

A couple examples I've found: in Kansas, this would be a Class B misdemeanor (if no one younger than 16 was present).  It's punishable by no more than 6 months in jail and a fine of no more than $1000.

In Wisconsin, it's a Class A misdemanor and can be punished by up to 9 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $10,000.
