Several air pollutants like carbon compound, sulphur compound, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and photochemical products are responsible for climate change. Carbon dioxide layer functions like the glass panels of a greenhouse, allowing the sunlight to filter through but preventing the heat from being re-radiated in outer space. This is called as green house effect. This causes global climatic changes.
