You might want to ask yourself what it is you like--her persona?  Her voice?  Or her messages?  Since she writes from an impulse of personal experiences, her lyrics are especially important.  What mood is her best mood--angry, or resentful, or sad, or hopeful, etc.?  When you say you "love" her, it shows you have had considerable exposure to her and her music.  Are you a country and western fan in general?  The point is, you must use your past experiences with her music to sort out what it is that attracts you.  In other words, a question of this nature reminds us answerers that the real contribution we can give is not just to blithely answer, but to stimulate your own ability to think, make decisions, filter your sensibilities through your logical brain as well as your emotional reaction, and come to conclusions that have value to you.  Which of her songs would you listen most often if you downloaded it?  Which of her songs gets closest to your own emotions, etc.

I personally think Safe and Sound is her best song. It doesn't have an annoying country twang to it, it's beautiful and mysterious.

For me, as an older person, "Never Grow Up" is a song that I like a lot.  I think that it is because I feel a sense of loss as my daughters get older and I lose the chance to see them being children.  I also like "Fifteen" because I hope my kids will understand some of what she's saying in that song.

But why worry about trying to download this stuff?  Why not just use Spotify for free?

Safe and Sound is definitely a favorite, but considering original Taylor Swift sounding songs, I would have to go with Fearless and Long Live

As an English teacher, I have always been partial to "Love Story" and I found this list of the top ten songs that seems to agree with me!

I like the reference to Romeo and Juliet contrasted with the optimism of the song, at least the way I see it!

Agreed, I like the story that goes along with it, it makes me daydream about what my future would be like, you know? Get my imagination going.

In reply to #12: You should really be ashamed of yourself. She is a country/pop singer. Just thought I'd mention, one of the best.

I choose Love story and Fifteen. Fifteen kind of reminds me of those lovely days.

I would have to say "Safe and Sound", because of the ethereal and haunting quality of the song. The lyrics stay with you, and the resonance, pitch, and diction of her voice just fit the song perfectly.

um there are a lot of songs that I love, like: "Mary's Song", "Love Story", "Cold As You", "Fifteen", and a lot of the songs from her first album.

My favorite is "We are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER, ever, not even a little bit, getting back together." But not really. Her best is probably "Our song" or "Love story."
