A clockwise movement is one that moves like the clock's hands: from the top to the right, then down, then to the left, and back to the top.

    The counterclockwise or anticlockwise direction
The opposite of clockwise is counterclockwise or anticlockwise. The movement is from the top to the left, then down, then to the right, and finally back up to the top.

A moment is the force multiplied by the perpendicular distance from the pivot. An anticlockwise moment is a moment that goes in the aniticlockwise direction, which is the direction a clock goes if it goes backwards.

The direction of turning (or rotation) produced on the body depends on the point of application of force & on the direction of force.

Conventionally, if  theturning effect on the body is anticlockwise (if the hands of clock move in opp. direction or the direction in which fan rotates),moment of force is called the anticlockwise moment and it is taken positive while if the turning effect on the body is clockwise (direction of motion of hands),moment  of force is called clockwise moment & it is take negative
