The expression `(ab)^(2x+y)/(a^x*b^y)` has to be simplified.

`(ab)^(2x+y)/(a^x*b^y)`

= `(a^(2x + y)*b^(2x+y))/(a^x*b^y)`

= `a^(2x + y - x)*b^(2x+y - y)`

= `a^(x + y)*b^(2x)`

The expression `(ab)^(2x+y)/(a^x*b^y) = a^(x + y)*b^(2x)`
