If you are agreeing with the statement that Macbeth is a good man tempted by evil than you can use the following as arguments:
-at the beginning of the play Macbeth is recognised as a nobel soldier for assisting to successfully defeat Norway at war.
-he is persuaded to commit his crimes by Lady Macbeth who manipulates him and questions his masculinity.
-the witches scheme to trick Macbeth and lead him to his downfall. They place doubts in his mind and make him become parinoid, prompting him to take action to prevent anyone from getting in his way out of fear.
-Macbeth expressed genuine guilt and remorse for his actions, to the point where he begins to experience hallucinations and paranoia.
