Use scientific notation, and round to the nearest tenth if necessary.

Solve the permutation: `900P30`

I think the answer is `2.60037*10^88`

Solve the combination: `(50!)/((50-5)!*5!)`

I think the answer is `2118760`

Is this right?

Thank you in advance.

You are correct so far. But take note that, we need to express in scientific notation and round off to the nearest tenths.

(1) `_900P_30=2.60037xx10^8=2.6xx10^8`

**Hence, `_900P_30=2.6xx10^8` .**

(2) `(50!)/((50-5)!*5!)=2118760=2.118760xx10^6=2.1xx10^6`

**Hence, `(50!)/((50-5)!*5!)=2.1xx10^6` .**

I think `(900!)/(870!)`

=`2.6*10^88`

Is this right? Should it be to the 88th power or 89th?

Thanks in advance.
