true or false if you neutralize with 0.1 M HCl, each mL of solution contains 3.65 g of the acid

### 1 Answer | Add Yours

In 0.1 M HCl solution you have 0.1 mol per 1000 ml of solution.

Therefore number of moles per ml = 0.1 mol / 1000 mL

=0.0001 mol/ mL

Molar weight of HCl = 36.5 g per mol

Therefore weight of HCl in 1 mL = 0.0001 mol/mL x 36.5 g/mol

= 0.00365 g /mL

**So it is false.**

But 1 L of solution contains 3.65 g of Hcl.
