In this diagram,the red color light is refracted below the violet color light to the bottom of our eyes while the violet colour light is refracted to the top of our eyes.However,from what I know,the top colour of the rainbow is red while the bottom is violet, and I have to clarify this doubt.Thanks

Sunlight enters the rain droplet at a specific angle and the rain droplet separates the white light into many different colours.  Red light bends the least, exiting the rain droplet at 42^o angle, while violet light bends the most, exiting the rain droplet at a 40^o angle (refer to the attached image).  All of the other colours of the rainbow exit the rain droplets at some angle between 40 and 42 degrees. Each rain droplet reflects all colours at a given point and time, but only one colour comes back to your eye.

This is because of this angle requirement that at any point of time, the upper droplet reflecting red light converges with the lower droplet reflecting violet light and not the reverse. D1, or any droplet above D1, (say D0), reflecting violet light (at 40 angle) would miss the topmost point of the eye. Similarly, D2 or any droplet below D2, and reflecting red light (at 42 angle) would miss the bottommost point of the eye.  Thus the colour of rainbow is always ROYGBIV, this order never changes.
