An allusion is a reference in a literary work to a person, place, or thing in history or another work of literature. Allusions are often indirect or brief references to well-known characters or events. Specific examples of allusions can be found throughout
I just read the book "Freak The Mighty" and the main allusion in that book was the legend of "King Arthur And The Knights At The Round Table".
Just remember that an allusion refrences another literary work. It does not come from personal reference.
