Coles Supermarkets of Australia, owned by Wesfarmers, has some isolated aspects of its environmental policy transparently stated on its supermarket website under About Coles (footer bar). One aspect of this policy is to be a repository for recyclable plastics:

Coles is Helping Australia Grow by supporting recycling of plastic bags and packaging, turning them into outdoor furniture for Aussie primary schools and pre-schools. (Coles Supermarket)

Another is to encourage and make available reusable shopping bags instead of paper or plastic shopping bags.
