Because if you have one then it makes your personality to the people you dont know more confident and cool. Also they're just plain awesome and sexy for women. XP

No ink. Never really wanted any, but if I did, it would be something small and cute like a lady bug or a giraffe. What I wonder is what's going to happen to those huge "awesome" tats as the person ages and his/her skin loses elasticity?

On the subject of tattoos, what do you think of the idea that some people have of the body being sacred and a vessel. Many people feel that the body should be kept free of any type of external, permanent adornment. Examples of this would be tattoos, piercings, and any other markings made externally to the body. The idea is that if your body is free or markings, your body is more pure or ready to offer to a higher power at death. The belief is something of that nature. If anyone has any more information on this notion or would like to give me their view, I would like to hear what you have to say on the matter. I am just curious because in theory I am Roman Catholic yet I am not practicing and I have 11 tattoos that go down my back. I also plan on getting more at some point.

tats are nice.. and who cares when you get old and they don't look as they once did?? way i see it, it shows that you had a good time and didn't give a damn.. it shows individuality, and independence. also.. whenever i see an older person with a tattoo, my first impression is that they are more approachable. i dunno, that's just me though.

well... if God is really all forgiving and loving, then as long as you're a good person, he should accept and love you as you are no matter what you do that you want to do. so what if you've got an all body tattoo and a zillion piercings?? what matters is what's on the inside... people shouldn't have to sacrifice what they love or want to do just to be accepted by an unconditionally loving God...

My dad has a dragon tribal on his chest over his heart. Dragonheart is the name of the tat it guards his heart from heartbreak

My aunt has a ferie that covers half her back. Its her guardian angel because she had a near death experience and said that a ferie grabbed her hand and told her its not time to leave.

I have a tribal with a eightball in the middle of it in memory of my uncle. he loved playing pool with me and he died before he finished it.

It's alright to get them as long as they arent over your whole entire body. But if you do get one make sure oyu think about it first because you could be trying out for a job and don't get it because of the tattoos you have. So think about it first.
