I believe that the right to self-expression encompasses all of those things (political, artistic, and religious beliefs). Nonetheless, if I had to choose one that I believe is more important than the rest, I think it's right to one's political views. Government affects so much of our lives, more so than art and religion.

It appears to me that the most important of human right is not formally recognized as human right activists at all.

I believe each person should have the choice of deciding what is most important to him and her, and the freedom to pursue that. Different people have different needs and likings. If a journalist thinks that right of expression is the most important for him and wants to exercise his rights by campaigning against child labour, he should have the freedom to do so. But till his efforts are able to create a situation where all children are able to have two square meals a day without working for wages, a hungry child with no other alternative should have the right to earn wages to fill his belly.

Unfortunately, too many human rights activists, trample too much on foot of others, so that they may be in the limelight.

I think that any organization that is built on the concern of human rights is an important organization, so it is difficult to say which one is more important.  I would have to say in my opinion a big problem today is underground slavery, and its something many people do not know about.  Underground slavery has even happened in America, and especially with our history, we should do anything in our power to fight against this, and make sure these people are freed, and the slave owners are persecuted.

In terms of freedom of expression, that is most important.  It allows people to do what they want, within the law of course. After that, the freedom of movement is next.

Freedom of expression is definitely very important, especially in the United States. That is in fact why many come here. Freedom of expression gives people the right to do what they please (so long as it is legal).

This is an interesting question. Although I tend to agree somewhat with the other posters, I would argue that religious rights are most important. Yes, people do sometimes live and die by their art or politics, they regularly do so for religion. When it comes to fundamental human needs, religion ranks up at the top. This country was founded partly on the need for free exercise of religion.
