The quadratic equation `(4x-2)^2 - 5 = 11` has to be solved.

`(4x-2)^2 - 5 = 11`

=> `(4x-2)^2 = 11 + 5`

=> `(4x-2)^2 = 16`

=> `4x - 2 = +-sqrt 16`

=> `4x - 2 = +-4`

=> `4x - 2 = 4` and `4x - 2 = -4`

=> `x = 6/4` and `x = -2/4`

=> `x = 3/2` and `x = -1/2`

The solution of the equation `(4x-2)^2 - 5 = 11` is x = `3/2` and `x = -1/2`
