Solve for h: A= (1/2)h(b/1) + (1/2)*h*(b/2)
1 Answer | add yours
The equation A = `(1/2)h*(b/1) + (1/2)*h*(b/2)` has to be solved for h.
`A = (1/2)h*(b/1) + (1/2)*h*(b/2)`
=> `A = (hb)/2 + (hb)/4`
=> `A = (3hb)/4`
=> `(4A)/3 = hb`
=> `h = (4A)/(3b)`
The solution for h is `h = (4A)/(3b)`
