A single circular loop with a radius of 22 cm is placed in a uniform external magnetic field with a strength of 0.50 T so that the plane of the coil is perpendicular to the field.  (a) find the magnetic flux through the loop and (b) The coil is pulled steadily out of the field in 0.35 s.  Find the average induced emf during this interval.

(a)The magnetic flux through the area enclosed by the loop is say `phi`

so

`phi= B(pir^2)Cos(0^o)`

`=(.50)((22/7)xx22^2) xx1`

`=760.571`    `Tm^2`

(b)The induced emf is then say `epsi`

`epsi=phi/(Delta t)` 

`epsi=(760.571)/(.35)=2173.06`  V
