The expression (2x+1)(7x^2-3x-4) has to be simplified.

The simplified form is:

(2x+1)(7x^2-3x-4)

= (2x)(7x^2-3x-4) + 7x^2-3x-4

= 14x^3 - 6x^2 - 8x + 7x^2 - 3x - 4

= 14x^3 + x^2 - 11x - 4

The required simplified form of the given expression is 14x^3 + x^2 - 11x - 4
