`-^4sqrt(144)=-(144)^(1/4)`

`=-(12^2)^(1/4)`

`=-(12)^(2xx(1/4))`

`=-(2^2xx3)^(1/2)`

`=-(2^2)^(1/2)(3)^(1/2)`

`=-(2)^(2xx(1/2))(3)^(1/2)`

`=-2(3)^(1/2)`

Take note that `-root(4)(144) = -root(4)(12^2) = -(12^2)^(1/4)`
