Multiply under and down by 2x all the terms:

8 + 5x = -22   thus subtract 8 from both sides:

8 + 5x -8  = -22 -8

   5x = -30

Dividing both sides by  5:

 5x/5 = -30/5       x = -6

`4/x+5/2=-11/x`

First, simplify the equation by multiplying both sides by the LCD of the three fractions, which is 2x.

`2x*(4/x+5/2)=(-11/x)*2x`

`8+5x=-22`

Then, isolate x. To do so, subtract both sides by 8.

`8-8+5x=-22-8`

`5x=-30`

And, divide both sides by 5.

`(5x)/5=-30/5`

`x=-6`

Hence, the solution to the given equation is x=-6.
